5 Garden Office Designs

Nowadays, a lot of people are working from home since many companies allow this option to their employees and even encourage this. A person feels more calm and relaxed at home, because he or she can’t feel the tension from the office environment. On the other hand, there are many self-employed people who prefer to develop their own business. If it is a small business, you don’t have to rent a whole building just to have an office.
There is a much smarter solution for this problem – office in the garden. Sounds strange, right? But it’s actually a niche in the design industry. This is the ideal solution for people working at home, because it is affordable and comfortable. You won’t need to rearrange the furniture at home just to create some free space for your office. You will only have to make few steps in the garden and enter your separate office.
If this is the first time you hear about garden offices, you can find some examples below:

The Ecospace Workpod

Ecospace is a cost-effective and affordable working station for one person. It has plenty of storage space for organizing your office tools and documents. There is also a desk and a chair, so you can comfortably work on your computer, uninterrupted by side factors.

The Airstream

Andreas Stavropoulos, an architect by profession, redesigned an old Airstream trailer and turned it into his mobile office. The studio has a loading ramp, which can be open at any time, offering a great view of the garden and the surrounding environment. The Airstream also has a solar panel, which provides enough energy to power Andreas’ computer. The architect has installed wooden and metal shelves, where he has arranged his books and tools.

The Micropod

This is a compact garden studio, which is only 2.5 x 2.0 metres in size. But don’t underestimate the Micropod, because it has everything needed for a fully functional office. If you want, you can even customize it by adding different features, such as additional shelves, low-energy underfloor heating, roof lights, etc.

The Blob

The Blob not only has an odd name, but also an odd shape. It reminds me of a giant Tic Tac candy, but maybe it’s just me. Blob is a mobile workplace, which means that you can locate it wherever you want, not just your garden. Inside this unusual pod you can find a bathroom, a kitchen, a bed and lots of shelves to store your belongings. So if you work late at night, you’ll be able to take a shower and rest in the bed.

The Office Pod

This is a complete working environment, which can be customized to your needs and requirements. You can choose the lighting, heating, ventilation and storage space, that best suits you and your working process. The estimated life of the Office Pod is 25 years and during this time you can change its location numerous times.
I think that all of these garden offices look amazing, but there is one thing bothering me – are these mobile working spaces in the jurisdiction of London flat cleaners or London office cleaners? I guess I will know the answer, when I get one of these great garden offices for myself.
